Flower of Reminiscence

Despite of the dignity with which she carries herself, Elaena is quite laid back and isn't averse to enjoying herself. Pleasant and mild-mannered, social graces have been drilled into Elaena since her younger years, thus she is able to perform well in most interactions. It's mainly due to this that she has made more than a few personal connections as she travelled across Westeros, and is pretty good at remembering faces and names.

From age eleven to sixteen, she dutifully served as attendant to her aunt Morella at Casterly Rock, learning the minutiae of running a lordly household from her and the stewards. On returning home, Elaena began taking charge of some vital parts of keeping Highgarden well-supplied and functioning, and continues to do so to this day.

As a daughter of a Great House, Elaena doesn't have to be particularly malicious in order to earn anyone's enmity. With her sheltered upbringing and family responsibilities, it's very possible for her to have overlooked an offense she has done, real or imagined. That aside, it takes deliberate action to really offend the rose, and still more to show her thorns.

Elaena likes male attention as much as the next girl, and entertains their affections... Up until they get to a certain line she won't cross. It's only a matter of time before she'd be sent off to marry for the family's sake, and although she would really, really prefer to at least have a say in it, one doesn't always get what they want in life.

Septa Annara [43] - Originally a lady from House Rowan, the septa has been with Elaena since her infancy, serving as governess and teacher. Elaena considers her as a second mother of sorts, and has promised that the septa will always have a place in her home.
