The year is 286 AC. King Jaehaerys II has just passed, leaving the throne without a rightful ruler. While his three children fight for the crown, Winter creeps closer, and unimaginable darkness looms.
Not all alliances will be so typical this time. In fact, many people have a crucial effect on the way this story is told. As for the ending, we only hope there are enough people left alive to tell it after its passed.

Join us for our first event, the wake of recently deceased King Jaehaerys II.
Updates
AUG. 19: So we are now officially open to the public. We have a mini-event flashback thread going on, and our main event just began. Feel free to make a second canon if you can keep both of them active enough.
Don't hesitate in pestering staff with questions; it's what we're here for! Let's raise a glass and make a cheer toward a successful launch of Winds of Winter.
The Eyrie is the principal stronghold of House Arryn. It is located in the Vale of Arryn near the east coast of Westeros. The Eyrie straddles the top of a peak in the Mountains of the Moon several thousand feet above the valley floor below. It is approached by a narrow causeway and road. Those who would approach the Eyrie must pass through three way-castles guarding the ascent - and then, must proceed in single file, making them very vulnerable to archers. For these reasons, the Eyrie is considered impregnable to any attack that does not involve dragons.
The Bite is a large bay located off the north-eastern coast of Westeros. It is an inlet of the Shivering Sea. It separates the southern coast of the North from the northern coast of the Vale of Arryn, with the Neck running along the western edge of the bay. The islands known as the Three Sisters are located within the Bite.
The Mountains of the Moon are a region in the Vale of Arryn. They form the western edge of the Vale, separating it from the Riverlands to the west. They are a substantial mountain range with many splinter ranges that dominate most of the territories ruled by House Arryn. The western foothills and flanks of the mountains are home to Hill tribes, warrior clans of varying size but unmitigated ferocity against the civilized inhabitants of the region.
