To her, he was almost like a hero, and the wild stories that he and his wife Daella told were the highlight of family dinners. She ended up spending most of her childhood with her cousins than her own father and siblings. [break][break] Over the years, it was a shame that Sera was so infatuated with her life at Storms end, that she neglected to see the change within her own family. Her father, who showed soft signs of emotional stress, was very good at hiding it, thus she never really knew how dire it was that she paid him attention. [break][break] Having grown close to her uncles family, it was only natural that she traveled with them to the wake of King Jaehaerys II.
