[attr="class,"bioentry"]Everything is questionable, and nothing can ever hope to claim to be the absolute truth; such is the way of Westeros under the command of haughty dragons. Amidst and between these times of peace and turmoil, Carmilla was born and raised a Lioness. And perhaps a lion's cardinal sin is pride, lots of it; however, she wasn't the ordinary cub among the pride of Lannisters. What Carmilla cares about the most is power, pure and potent power. [break][break] Perhaps such an idea came to the plane of existence when the youngest of the Lannisters watched and observed from afar the inner-workings and the intricate plans her mother had to offer. Mayhaps it was the influence of her brother who happens to be gallant and stalwart in his own conviction seeking what he thought as glory and the magnificence of every detail and meaning. Maybe it was his sister who claimed the title as master of council at such an early and young age while being anointed a knight as well. Each of her siblings and parents had an agenda of their own that satisfied and adapted accordingly with their way of thinking. But at the end, it was all about power; seizing it, preserving it, and harnessing it. [break][break] If you ever ask Carmilla about her own principals, she will answer only with silence and a quiet smile. Carmilla doesn't share, although she succeeds in projecting the whole image of caring to share. Power can't be shared because power is the monopoly of the mighty and the strong. Shrewd and secretive like her mother, Carmilla weaves her plans like a spider would do its web. Ambitious and determined like her brother, Carmilla seeks a place in the world however unlike what her brother has in mind. Resourceful and hardworking like her sister, Carmilla paves her road to success and ultimately her aspired goal...survive the upcoming war. [break][break] Indeed, she is young in age. Then again, age has nothing to do with maturity. Carmilla knows what she wants, and she is going to get it whatever the cost. [attr="class","bioheader"]history. [attr="class,"bioentry"]Born a fourth child of House Lannister, she grew up under the care of Lions. Carmilla was raised and brought up to be another cub of the pride. Being the youngest of all of her siblings gave her the opportunity to observe and monitor them from a distance, whether it was near or far. Seeing them going far and wide to achieve their goals and knowing very well how much her siblings progressed as they trod the many of lanes of time, Carmilla's existence was threatened by a sense of imperfection. The fourth child, the last child of the pride, followed them from the rear enveloped in their own long shadow. Such can't be, Carmilla came to realize. Among the nobility, the Gods had chosen her to be a Lannister. And thus she believed there was a reason behind the meaning of her existence; she believed she was not meant to follow the steps of others but to tread her own course in life. Pragmatic and opportunistic, she learned from them everything useful. Even the way of the blade, Carmilla asked her brother and sister to teach the ways of self-defense. Yet, between all of the cubs, Carmilla was her mother's daughter; she valued the power of a scheming mind. Not as skilled as her siblings when it came to the Melee, she preferred to enlighten her mind under the tutelage of Maesters and Septas; Carmilla found herself in need of more of such a divine substance that was knowledge. [break][break] The walls of Casterly rock didn't hold the young Carmilla from visiting Lannisport. There, she got acquainted with merchants and travelers who brought news from the sunset sea and the king's road; she got even infatuated with an amulet and bought it, and while doing so, another merchant took note of the amulet and offered her a better price for it. Although Carmilla didn't need his gold, she managed to quell her sway over the amulet and chose to sell it. There was profit to be made even if the gain was not that hefty or big. Eventually, Carmilla was hooked into the prospect of mercantile despite being young for someone to engage in such transactions. Her visit to Lannisport was not the last! In fact, she took her guards every week to visit the port to mingle with its hustling and bustling populace; from their gossip, she managed to learn the flow of the market. A certain merchant bought a property for a lesser price than another merchant while he offered a better price for another commodity. Carmilla bought and sold under an anonymous identity; she began to amass gold and expand her coffers. At first, it was a hobby that helped her kill unused time. Later on, it became a way of living. The word of mouth, the information exchanged from an individual to another, was her access to real information. It wasn't the same kind of information she had learned from the Maesters and Septas. No, not at all! It was practical information, information that had weight capable of shifting the tide of the market. At last, Carmilla came to understand the truth of this world. Knighthood didn't matter! Glory didn't amount to anything! What really mattered was information. Why? Because information was power. And who controlled the flow of information controlled how the gold was handled, and who dominated the rivers of gold had the opportunity to usurp Westeros itself. [break][break] Such a revelation proved to be rather intoxicating, and Carmilla grew greedy of such an ethereal currency; she wanted more of it as she found they were her way to self-perfection. The Targaryens were fighting among themselves, and such pulled the strings of concern with her heart. War was upon them, a war that would tear Westeros apart and break it into many a warring realm. Only those with power had an inkling of hope to survive; she had no other choice but to seek power in order to survive. Between information and gold, Carmilla began to prepare herself for what to come. [break][break] Carmilla might now roar, but she knows how to pay her debts... [attr="class","bioheader"]inventory.
