Not all alliances will be so typical this time. In fact, many people have a crucial effect on the way this story is told. As for the ending, we only hope there are enough people left alive to tell it after its passed.

THE REAVING KING - The King of Salt and Rock, King of Reaping, Breaker of Dragons, the Reader, and the Panther of the Sea. He is, without a doubt, the most dangerous man in Westeros.
RHAEGAR TARGARYEN - The Pretender Prince and youngest son of the previous king.
ALYSANNE TARGARYEN - The named heir and only daughter of the previous king. She is a puppet, and Quellon the puppeteer.
SALTBLADE - The Lord Commander of the Iron Fleet, and the only man that can claim to be as dangerous as Quellon himself.
PORKLOIN - The first mate of Saltblade, and Quellon's go to "Make a miracle happen" soldier. No one understands how Porkloin consistently stumbles into greatness.
AERYS TARGARYEN - Missing son of Daeron, and a former ward of Quellon's. Quellon considers him something akin to a son, and believes their destinies to be intertwined.
DAELLA BARATHEON - Wife of the Hand of the King, and one of the greatest threats to Quellon's political life. The two have history together, though what that history is, is unknown.
Talia - Maid of Ashe Tully, and salt wife of Quellon. She was kidnapped after an encounter with Lady Tully due to believing her to possess some sort of magical or poison prowess.
THREADS CHAPTER ONE: The Rising Tide
Among Books Are Swords - COMPLETE. Saltblade and Quellon have a meeting in Pyke and begin to plot out the destruction of Westeros.
Sow Not Grain - COMPLETE. Alysanne meets with Quellon, selling her soul in the process.
White Haired Prey - COMPLETE. Ashe Tully encounters Quellon in the royal library the day before the wake.
A Stone's Throw from Havoc - COMPLETE. The wake of the former king. This is the turning point in this chapter.
A Sheep in Wolf's Clothing - COMPLETE. After leaving the wake, Quellon is approached by a mysterious noble.
Panther of the Sea - COMPLETE. A flashback to when Quellon sailed into the Doom of Valyria.
Leviathan - INCOMPLETE. Aerys Targaryen wards with Quellon, and experiences the life of the Ironborn first hand.
INTERLUDE: Before the Burning of Dragonstone - COMPLETE. Before the destruction of Dragonstone, Quellon ponders his life reaching this point, and thinks on his children and their futures.

Iron & Gold: The Battle for Lannisport - INCOMPLETE. Morella Lannister made her alliance with Quellon, and at the first chance he betrayed her. Little did he know that she was already one step ahead.
Blossoms from Blood: The Battle for the Shield Islands - INCOMPLETE. With 250 ships sailing towards the Shield Islands, the Reaving King makes a bold move in gaining a lead on his enemies. However, he did not expect them to be so prepared.
