TYBALT LANNISTER
I have run through the fields of pain and sighs.
THE WHITE LION | TWENTY-FOUR | MALE |

[PTab=PERSONALITY]
I have fought to see the other side.
POSITIVE Tybalt’s remarkable in the fact that he perhaps has no true enemies. A straightforward man and a people-person to the bone, Tybalt always manages to find a way to get on the good side of whoever he meets, even those who hate the guts of his family name. He is sporting both on and off the field of battle and has never shown anyone who raised a sword against him anything other than the greatest of respect. Adding to this, Tybalt possesses a rather cool temper and is never the sort of person to come across as hot-headed or brutish. As befitting of his station he manages to balance his boisterous and often ribald personality with a large measure of proper bearing. He is (more often than not) true to his word and puts great stock in the values of tradition and faith, taking both the wishes of his family and the vows of his knighthood quite seriously. Though his primary strengths lie on the battlefield, it would be a mistake to call Tybalt a brute. He’s a fantastic judge of character and seems to have a knack for figuring out what other people are thinking and acting accordingly. He’s by no means a human lie-detector but he’s smarter than most people give him credit for simply because he prefers his swords to his books. | LIKES - ‘True’ Knighthood - Tournaments - Cyvasse - Ribaldry - Riding - Silver DISLIKES - Dishonourable Knights - The Ironborn - Magic - Politics - Hunting - Gold | NEGATIVE Though he is by no means unintelligent, Tybalt has not put as much effort in to learning the more nuanced matters of ruling as he has in to his martial expertise. Though his personality may win him many friends, his relative lack of political acumen and desires towards making people happy are a worrisome combination to his parents, especially since he is next in line to be head of the family. Likewise, Tybalt has lived his life with an idealised version of knighthood. Though not blind to the moral ambiguity of the world around him he has not yet been put in a situation where he has had to weigh his loyalties; that is to say that someday he will have to decide if his family is more important than his honor. Finally, though he is an almost entirely agreeable and rarely ever angry, Tybalt holds a deep contempt for barbarism. The lives of unjust knights who sully their vows are forfeit to him and he hates the creed of the Ironborn with a passion and would not shed a tear if their islands were swallowed by the ocean. This hate is one of the few things that will likely drive Tybalt to irrational action. |

[PTab=BIOGRAPHY]
I am the one who can recount what we've lost.
For Glory
Being the firstborn son of the Lord of Casterly Rock has put certain expectations on Tybalt from the day he was born. Ever since he came in to this world he was afforded the best education his family could afford and, though a bright and thoughtful young boy, he was spoiled by the comfort that his family’s wealth brought and was happy to remain lazy unless there was a sword in his hand.
Having been raised on stories of brave knights and famous battles, Tybalt never outgrew the sense of childlike wonder they conjured within him and had decided at a very young age that he was destined to be one such great knight and leave his mark on the world as such. He dedicated his years to learning the ins and outs of combat, of the strategies of wars long-past and in training his own arm for battle, squiring for a knight and eventually becoming one himself.
As soon as he was able, Tybalt began to enter tournaments and he received the adoration of the nobility for both his great performances in battle and his friendly sportsmanship in both victory and defeat. Around this time people began to take notice of Tybalt’s affinity for silver over the typical Lannister gold (he found gold to be gaudy and vulgar) and in response dubbed him the ‘White Lion’. The name stuck and Tybalt, fond of it, took the white lion on a field of red as his own personal emblem.
Since his début on the tourney fields, Tybalt has been content to while away his days between tournaments as the captain of Lannisport's City Watch and waiting for his father to die so he can take his place as head of the family. He has desires on serving not only his family and himself through battle but eventually serving the realm as a whole, believing himself to be a perfect fit as The Master of Laws if not Hand of The King.
