The year is 286 AC. King Jaehaerys II has just passed, leaving the throne without a rightful ruler. While his three children fight for the crown, Winter creeps closer, and unimaginable darkness looms.
Not all alliances will be so typical this time. In fact, many people have a crucial effect on the way this story is told. As for the ending, we only hope there are enough people left alive to tell it after its passed.

Old gods and New gods had gifted the Targaryen Prince with violet eyes that pierced through the veil of reality. The boy was not gifted with fiery visions, nor future sight but his eyes saw the steps it would take to grant him a seat upon the Iron Throne. Though his father would not be the only threat to such a seat, gifted indivuals across Westeros were not sitting idle in their castle. All the key players in Westeros were in constant flux, a constant reminder to be on guard. For that reason the Targaryen trained body and mind constantly.
Trapped upon the seat of Dragonstone, the young dragon was in the courtyard with his blade drawn. Mock movements made by the prince as he swung his gilded weapon through the air. Had the boy applied any more strength to the steel it surely would sunder the air. Having learned the popular styles of fighting, wither their weapon be a great sword or a cross bow the Targaryen understood how to react. Aegys had received a raven, the kings sister had sent one of her children to meet their eldest cousin. It had been quite some time since he had last seen the second and third branch members of the Targaryen family.
" Bring her to me." the crowned prince commanded of the stronghold guards prior when she was to arrive. Aegys would not waste a time standing idle as the boats docked the isle. Standing there and waving were greetings he could do up here in the courtyard when she came up the steps. Having heard his servants focus on the docks it was likely that his cousin had arrived. A brief thought occupied his mind, recalling her appearance as children but not that of a young adult. Interested to see who would be brought before him.
The young Targaryen would have probably just been content staying in her room reading or practicing her water dancing. However, her mother worried that she didn't get out all that much. Elys frequented the gardens however, but she didn't interact with others that much. Her mother sent her to go and see her cousin, who was part of their first branch and the Prince. He was held up in Dragonstone which was very isolated; she wondered if the prince got bored being isolated on the isle.
Young Elyseah would travel to Dragonstone by herself; though accompanied by guards. This was only one of the few times she had been on a boat and she wished she was heading towards Essos or another region of Westeros. She wondered what the rest of the world held for her. The trip was pleasant, she stayed on the bow of the ship. The wind caressing her white tresses of hair. She wore a blue-gray cloak to keep her warm, with a light blue dress underneath but it was shorter than what other ladies may have warn.
Despite her mother's objections, her slender sword, Thorn, was at her side. She never went anywhere without it; even if she wasn't in any danger. But, at the moment and when her mother had seen her off Thorn was hidden underneath her cloak. They were just about to Dragonstone, she could see the isle and the castle. As she saw them, her imagination imagined a dragon flying up from behind the castle and spewing fire into the air almost as if to greet her.
They would dock and her guard, as well as guards on the dock would guide her to where her cousin, the prince was. He would be in the courtyard, practicing with his sword. She walked shyly alongside the guards. They would announce her as they grew closer to her cousin.
One of the guards would clear his throat before saying, "Your cousin...Lady Elyseah Targaryen," and then would let Elyseah proceed before, the guards standing behind her as she stood before the prince.
"Hello cousin, Aegys," she would say in soft words, looking up at him a small but shy smile on her lips. "H-how are you?"

An empty court yard was now filled with activity as servants and guards traversed the sea bound staircase towards him. Nestled between two well armored men was a young dragon painted with white and ashen hues. Announcing just who she was, " I know my own kin. Place her belongings inside and leave her company to me." Aegys commanded the captain of the guards before directing his attention to his cousin. What a wonderful sight it was to see another Targaryen before him. As of late only Saerysa visited him.
The stuttering dragon appeared all to shy before him. It had been since child hood that the two had gotten to play with each last. " The years have been kind to you Lady Elsyeah, welcome to my home." the crowned prince brought his hands up towards the air. His feet closing the distance between the two before he brought his arms around the neck of the Targaryen. " Don't let it be so long before you choose to visit again." Aegys told her as he held her. Parting from the embrace to place a soft kiss upon her cheek.
" Gather your courage cousin and grab my hand, I want to show you my castle." Aegys shared, having sheathed his weapon upon spotting the lovely Targaryen. Extending a partially gloved hand to her with a soft smile. " You need not be afraid, you are my guest, and you are my family." the young dragon explained trying to soothe her nerves. Wishing not to intimidate his cousin, hoping that her shy behavior would melt beneath his words that acted like dragon fire. " Shall we." violet eyes closed, smile beaming from cheek to cheek on his perfect face.
As Elyseah had arrived in her cousin's presence, he would command the guards. He was just as bossy; well from what she could remember when they were younger. She had been much shyer then and maybe a tab bit apprehensive towards Aegys; especially since he was the prince. The other guards would disappear, but Elys' own guard would remain she would wave her hand for him to dismiss himself. Despite how timid she was around guards, she tried to play the part of being a Highborn.. as best she could.
With sweet words her cousin would greet her, walking towards the young dragon. Aegys would welcome her to his home, embracing her before placing a kiss on her cheek which would cause her to blush slightly. He told her that he hoped that it wouldn't be too long before she would visit him again. "Well.. good cousin, if you weren't confined onto this island," she would say, a tad bit out of character for the humble dragon. But, she did have a bit of spark to her. Elys was a Targaryen after all.
Her cousin would then offer to show her his castle, extending his hand gloved towards her with a soft smile. Her violet eyes would look down at his hand and would exquisitely place her hand into his trying to be as ladylike as she could. Her pale colored cheeks would redden even more as he seemed to have noticed her timidness, telling her to not be afraid. She'd look up at him as he had a smile on his face which would cause her to smile in return. Elys would nod towards her elder cousin.

nothing stronger then a dragon
0000 words for ELYSEAH TARGARYEN COUSIN TIME
Pleasure could be seen in the finer features of the princes face, nothing was more important to him than family. Evident by his choice to wed his beloved Saerysa. Though Elyseah nearly rivaled his sister in beauty. Had he had eyes for another woman they would likely happily settle on his cousin. Soon enough they would be provided privacy from guards and servants alike. Watching the last of them being waved away by the cute dragon. Even being a third branch of the Targaryen family the young woman wielded power greatly.
Eyes resting upon the lovely sight of his cousin, noting her timid attitude as he introduced her to Dragonstone. Voicing her opinion on her returning with his brother imprisonment to this stronghold. " If I wasn't I'd imagine I'd be harder to see. Though when I leave this stronghold for the Red Keep I will make sure to welcome you each time you visit." Soon enough the boy would be able to sit upon the Iron Throne and be free of this damn island. To many years had been spent within its walls, he needed to spread his wings and fly.
The woman placing her hand promptly atop of his, Aegys fingers curling around her palm as his grip on her tightened. Fingers weaving between each other. " Do tell me about your travels and adventures cousin, I want to know what you have been doing all the time." Aegys shared softly with the blushing dragon. Guiding the two forward into the entrance of the stronghold. Magnificent halls and chambers would showcase the quiet island of Dragonstone. " I am tired of hearing about the world through letters and ravens, I want to hear about it from your lips." the crowned prince told her.
Her cousin would comment back to her that once he left this place for the Red Keep he would make sure to welcome her each time he visited. It wouldn't be too hard to visit her since she did live in King's Landing. "I'm sure you could do that just about everyday, Prince Aegys" she would add with a smile. Despite being somewhat shy around him, even though he was family, she would be greatly delighted to see him. Maybe, the two could spend time in the gardens together at the Red Keep. That was one of her favorite places to be. "When do you think you'll come to live at the Red Keep?" she inquired, as his fingers wrapped around palm.
He would then ask her about her travels and adventures. They would be dually noted. She didn't partake in many travels. The only places she traveled were through the words on the pages of the many books that were in the library at the Red Keep. Elys would look down for a moment. "W-what I've been doing?" she would ask him, repeating what he had just inquired her to tell him. She wanted to be able to tell him that she'd traveled all across Westeros and to Essos...
"I haven't traveled far.." she would say hesitantly. Did she want to appear as the girl-who-dreamed a lot towards her elder cousin? "I've only been residing in King's Landing," though, how she did wish to see the world. "I-... spend my time reading and studying," She supposed she could call it studying..
He wanted her to tell him about the world? She couldn't be able to for she hadn't seen much of it herself...

Reach out your hands Don't turn your back Don't walk away How in the world Can I wish for this? Never to be torn apart Close to you 'Til the last beat Of my heart
Elyseah explained to him that venturing to the Red Keep should be an easy feat for him. It was not that the Keep was far but rather his father wanted him here then there. Perhaps it was for his own good for Aegys ploy for the King may have taken place already had he lived at the Red Keep. " I wish to be wanted there. Perhaps if you wanted me at your side more often I'd come visit Elyseah." the curious prince noted with a glance.
His cousin asking when he would likely live in King's Landing. " When I sit upon the Iron Throne." Aegys told her in all seriousness. Only then did he truly believe that he deserved to live in the wealthy keep. Though concerns on that matter would soon fall to the likes of his own questions for his cousin. Securing his curiousty when he doubled over his question. " Yes I can only imagine what you've done since I've last seen you." Aegys mused happily.
Hearing her out as she explained she had not gone far from King's Landing unfourantly. Much of her time spent in tomes and novels. " And where have they brought you, beyond the wall? into the past." Aegys curiousity remained. Wondering what his cousin read for entertainment and pleasure. Stumbling ahead of her a few steps the prince polietly pulled on her arm. " Let me show you my world." violet eyes bright with a familar smile upon his lips.
With that the boy directed them down an empty passage, guiding her up stairs through Dragonstone. The stronghold had one room in particular that he wished to show her now. Knowing each passage and hall by heart he brought her through the dragon glass maze. However the sound of footsteps behind him made the boy hurry as he brought them before a door. A voice calling out for the prince. With reckless abandoan the prince yanked his cousin through the door with him to dodge those calling for him.
The two of them stumbling upon each other until his cousin was pinned beneath him against shelving. Staring at the girl beneath as he whispered softly to his cousin beneath to keep the silence for a moment.
Her cousin would explain that he wished to be wanted at the Red Keep. Inclining that if she wanted him by her side more often he would come visit. Looking up at him she would say in reply maybe a bit too enthusiastically, "Of course I'd want you by my side, I'm sure everyone else wants you there as well," her voice was a bit louder now, as if she was becoming more comfortable around him. In truth, she did wish to see more of him; maybe she wouldn't be so nervous or shy around him.
Aegys would then reply to her seriously about when he would move to King's Landing. Though, the subject would soon be set aside as Elyseah had spoke about what she did in her time since they had last seen each other. She didn't even really remember when the last time had been.. Her cousin would ask where the books she had read took her. She would be more eager to reply to his question this time, "Oh! All over Westeros and to Essos.." she would begin as he pulled her forward deeper into the castle, his home.
He wanted to show her his world. She'd heard much about Dragonstone and wondered how glorious of a castle it actually was. She would follow him, as he led her his hand still holding onto hers. She only remembered holding only her parent's hands but Aegys' was rather warm. He would guide her down an empty passageway and up stairs. Elyseah would admire the castle as they navigated through it, noting the many dragon-motifs and reliefs.
There would be footsteps behind the pair; voices calling for the prince. Thinking he would have stopped to answer the voice, she would she surprised as they stopped in front of a door and yanked her through the door. Young Elys would stumble into the room as he had yanked her. She would then find herself against a bookshelf, with Aegys pinning her against it. She blushed and was about to push him away before he whispered softly for her to keep silent for a moment. With hot cheeks, she would look up at him keeping silent.
For some reason she felt even hotter with him up-against her, even shyer. She admired his features. His strong jawline, his violet eyes and porcelain white hair. She didn't realize that she was holding her breath, or that she had forgotten to breath but she couldn't stop herself from holding her breath not till those whom were looking for the prince were gone. And until he stepped away from her. Though, if it was too long she might pass out...

Reach out your hands Don't turn your back Don't walk away How in the world Can I wish for this? Never to be torn apart Close to you 'Til the last beat Of my heart
Happiness would make no attempt to shroud itself from sight. His cousin lighting up immediatly when he asked to be around his family more often. Elyseah wanted him to be around all of his family. It was a shame for he missed Arys and Rhaegal just as much. " It is good to be wanted cousin." Aegys replied warmly, perhaps even he was not immune to his cousins warmth. The same feeling swelling up in his chest. Much like the feeling of spending time with Saerysa.
Though he had not expect Elyseah to be so devoted to tomes. A plesasent surprise as she replied quickly to him. The pages written by authors and historians had taken Elyseah from all over Westeros to the likes of even Essos. To be able to explore the world in such a way was a gift. Having only been educated in the art of war and combat. Aegys had only read of such locations stained with blood and forever marked by conquers. " Any of those places in your books make you wish to see it for real?." the boy asked as their journey deepened in the stronghold.
A proper location for a Targaryen, sad that Aegys viewed it as a prison after these long summer years. Perhaps with the coming of winter the tides would change his fate. Though his fathers general had made him desire no other company than Elyseah. The man always had nothing good to say and often kept himself around far to long. For the male was one of the few Aegys voice had little power over. " I do not wish to spoil this day with conversations of my father." he shared with his cousin as they bolted through the door.
The heat from Elyseah cheeks would rival that of dragons flames as their current situation swelled feelings upon her face. Footsteps coming closer down the hallway to the door as Aegys ushered the silence between them. " I think we are safe." Aegys mused beneath his breath as his eyes settled on his cousin beneath him. The poor child holding air hostage in her lungs. " You can breath-" before he could finish the door was thrown open behind them. Only one solution came to mind to detour the man away, praying to the seven for forgiveness.
Aegys had pressed himself into the figure of his cousin. Resting his head on the literate dragons shoulder and keeping his violet eyes locked on the book shelves, arms had slung themselves around his cousins hips softly while pushing out hers around his own, the messenger would walk in upon what seemed to be the prince enjoying a woman. " It's rude not to knock." the prince snarled at the interuptting man as he kept close to Elyseah. Feeling the stare burning into his back from the man as he recieved a brief message.
" when you are done courting your servants you best find me prince. I doubt your father would be pleased with a lowborn."
The man's voice firmly told Aegys before shutting the door behind him. Aegys strong hold weakening on his cousin as he went to seperate from her. Anger could be seen in his eyes, who gave that bastard permission to invade his privacy constantly. His father had such a power to summon Aegys ire. " Are you alright Elyseah?" concern falling on his cousin as the whole scene had been hasty. " I didn't mean to use you as a scapegoat. I just can not afford to waste time on him when family is around."
The young dragon spent days in the world of the books her eyes would scan. It brought her happiness yes; but true happiness would to be able to go to such places that she could only dream up in her mind which was full of wondrous stories and adventures. So of course she would be overjoyed to share such with her elder cousin; but not too much, ashamed she might just be treated as the dragon who dreamed too much. Her mother coddled her but she knew what others thought. Or what she assumed they thought...
Aegys would then ask her if any of the places she traveled to in her books she wished to see for real. Violet eyes would light up. Of course she did. One of which was Braavos. In particular because she wanted to learn more about "sword dancing". Her face lit up with a smile, "Of course, cousin..." but she didn't know if she could go to such places. What fate awaited her was..probably being promised to someone like other ladies.. "..b-but Braavos." Elys would say a bit shyly before their journey deepened into the stronghold and they would find themselves hiding in a room.
Aegys said as they had bolted into the room that he didn't want to spoil the day with conversation about his father. She wondered why. Did he have some ill-will towards her Uncle?
Heat would emit from her cheeks as the young dragon would find herself between a bookshelf and Aegys. She'd been holding her breath as they waited for the general to go away. Thinking the coast was clear, Aegys said that he thought they were safe. Noticing that his girl cousin had been holding her breath, telling her she could breath but before he could finish his sentence the man bust the door open. Elys would exhale just as Aegys improvised.
The prince would press himself further against his cousin. Surprising the young dragon, the flames from her cheeks growing in heat. She didn't know how to react, how to respond. Remaining as still as the girl's maids who could remain standing in one position for hours. His arms would wrap around her hips as his head rested on her shoulder. The young girl had never been touched like this before; her cousin's body that towered over her felt almost..safe. The heat from his own body, though it did not rival the burning of the poor girl's cheeks.
Aegys snarled which would scare Elyseah; she knew he had been a tab bit scary when she had been younger but the venom to which he spoke to the man. In the struggle of trying to hide, Elyseah had raised her hand to her chest to which her chest pounded against. She was starting to feel faint of heart.
With a few words..calling Elyseah a servant? before leaving. However, Elyseah was delirious from her cousin's body pressed against hers and didn't hear much of what the man had said. She didn't realize her cousin had separated from her until she didn't feel his warmth. His words wouldn't come easy to the child's ears, a blank stare upon her face. Aegys had apologized to her but his words wouldn't reach her. In everything that had happened, her other hand had gripped her sword which had been hidden underneath her cloak.
But, she was starting to almost miss her cousin's warmth... her cheeks still hot and reddening her porcelain complexion.
