When did we build this broken home?

The second-born son of house Baratheon could not claim to have the supposed charisma that his father was known for, and though surprisingly patient, he could not claim to be as collected as his eldest brother. Instead, Donald (noted by his mother for being the one who cried the most as an infant) staked his claim and extrapolated his pride in being the very embodiment of his family’s signature fury. His combative nature only tempered by the sense of honor and duty instilled in him by his kin, he did not hesitate to unleash on those who insulted him or anyone who shared his name; Whether it was breaking the leg of a young minor lord who mocked his sister Dione, or simply quelling the rigamarole of those who spoke ill of Daemon by staring cold, hard, daggers at them, Donald’s enemies did not know the meaning of mercy.

Donald’s ambition propelled him in all areas of his life, and though he always seemed to be a step behind Daemon when it came to their studies, he never lagged or wavered when it came to martial training. His pastime involved the clashing of swords, and since there was no great war to test his mettle in, Donald took to participating in all aspects of any tournaments he could. From jousting to horse-racing, he did it all, though he was predictably suited to a good old fashioned melee, losing only one match in his entire career. His nickname is attributed not only to his skill and propensity towards using a war-hammer in combat, but his naturally blunt disposition. The “Hammer of Storm’s End” (or simply, “The Hammer”) did not suffer loss or fools, was not to be trifled with and lives to this day ready to smash anything that gets in his way.
