The year is 286 AC. King Jaehaerys II has just passed, leaving the throne without a rightful ruler. While his three children fight for the crown, Winter creeps closer, and unimaginable darkness looms.
Not all alliances will be so typical this time. In fact, many people have a crucial effect on the way this story is told. As for the ending, we only hope there are enough people left alive to tell it after its passed.

Join us for our first event, the wake of recently deceased King Jaehaerys II.

AUG. 19: So we are now officially open to the public. We have a mini-event flashback thread going on, and our main event just began. Feel free to make a second canon if you can keep both of them active enough.
Don't hesitate in pestering staff with questions; it's what we're here for! Let's raise a glass and make a cheer toward a successful launch of Winds of Winter.

She didn't want to go out. No, the festivities her father hosted, she hated them, hated the idea that she had to go out and be social: it wasn't what Selyse did. She was good at other things, like thinking, not mindlessly applaud while other knights tried to kill each other (it was an exaggeration on her part and she knew it, but she was far too upset to pay it any mind) and ladies tried to flirt their way into some other wealthy lord's pants.
She had tried on the dress her septa prepared for her: soft red velvet for the skirt and a white upper that covered her almost entirely. A lady mustn't show skin until she is married, her septa had said, and Selyse tended to agree with the old woman. If someone wanted her, they needed to like her for her cleverness first, for her quirks and for her strange tendency to frown.
Her feet took her to Andaren's room and the redhead knocked on his door, well aware that it was late at night. "Brother?" She spoke clearly, not seeming to care if anyone heard her: she was free to go wherever she wanted in Riverrun, no one except for her mother and father ever told her otherwise. Not that they dared to, her anger was the silent type, quick and ruthless.
"Are you awake?" She asked as her hands fiddled with her skirt, eyes locked onto the closed door before her. A door, that was all that kept them apart.
The sweet voice of his twin sister stirred Andaren from his sleep. When his eyes opened his chamber was black except the thin strip of moonlight entering through his window. It wasn't strange to find one of the Tully twins at each other's chambers late at night. They had been together since the womb and have not been separated long since. Andaren and Selyse were barely two seperate people, they acted often as one and relied on each other. Andaren much more than Selyse, but it was an unbreakable bond.
"Selyse?" Andaren knew it was her, but his grogginess spoke for him. He slipped from his covers and quickly put on a pair of breeches. He opened the door and Selyse stood in front of him wearing a beautiful red and white gown. Andaren was suprised to see her dressed so nicely in the middle of the night. "You look wonderful sister, what's the occasion?" Andaren asked while beckoning her into his chambers.
Andaren began to light the sconces along his wall, there was no need to hide in the darkness. Selyse's voice was calm and Andaren had no reason to worry if anything had been wrong. The question still had to be asked though, "Is everything all right?" He placed himself at a small round table.

She loved her siblings, more than she could possibly say. She and Andaren, they had been together since the very beginning, sharing the same womb, they had a connection, something that could never be broken. Marise, the sweet little girl, who taught Selyse how to braid her hair, she deserved so much better than anyone in the world, a life of luxury and peace and Selyse would've done anything for both of their siblings to have that sort of life, even if it meant she had to give up on everything.
Her formal dress contrasted with his attire and she could only smile at the thought. He must've been sleeping for a while. No wonder about that, he must've been tired. Unlike Selyse, Andaren was eager to participate in the tourney and Selyse believed he wanted their lord father to acknowledge him, but that wasn't going to happen. Hans Tully had other, better things to do than pay attention to his own family.
She quickly entered his room and closed the door after her, her smile slowly fading and she stood there, in the dim light, red-brown eyes silently watching him. Was he really going for it? "He's not going to acknowledge you, you know. Father." She must've sounded cruel, because it was who she was: always straight to the point. There was no need to hide. "You could get hurt. And there was a tinge of concern laced onto her words.
