When did we build this broken home?

Devoted, strong-minded. Ten and eight, Alayne was raised and named under the light of the Seven. She was taught to be a lady, but as the Baratheons were martial by nature, it did not seem uninevitable that young Alayne would also find herself fascinated by warfare and strategy. She was a solemn child, devoted to the Seven, and intent on studying her brains out. Study. Pray. Read. While her education was supervised, she did most of the studying on her own, and she'd observe her siblings so at home in the courtyard, training. Eventually, she caved in, to curiosity. It began with the knife-throwing, then followed by the picking up of the bow. From observation, she stole a bow, and then tried it on her own. Furious, she asked the master-at-arms to train her, so then, there. It began - two hundred arrows shot per night, while in the morning she said her prayers, kneeled, smiled, and then studied.

Eventually, she is ten and eight. Martial, aggressive, and sharp-tongued, is there a place for a dutiful girl who can outshoot you in archery and outwit you with her rhetoric? Years of archery, years of cyvasse and intensive study have suited her for the life of a girl who can dream. She knows it's not a woman's place to fight. She knows it's a woman's place to be nice and smile. However, she will not bend down. She will not give up. She wants the power, she wants to remember that she can do all those things she wants.

Traits at the moment: martial, strong-minded, willful, intellectual. A strong will, a sharp tongue and sharper mind. What can go wrong?
