ymir, a descendant of the first men who came to Westeros. Born beyond the wall of the north, the young man is known to be a Wildling or Free Folk. Apart of a family of men whose blood had made them a noteworthy clan. Years later the man would throw away this last name for the sake of his loved ones. finding a spearwife that liked him and his family and married her after taking her from he home. the two would have a child years later. the birth happened without error, but the child had a weak immune system at the start of his development, before the boy was the age of five he had been struck with a terrible illness. no medicine, only death would cure the boy the wildlings prophesize, yet ymir heard tales of the kingdoms medicine. sacrificing his family name and honor, the man left his wife behind to bring his son into the fold. his journey was not easy, as climbing the wall with a child was no simple task. let alone sneaking into the stark lands. he would travel far into westeros and be fortunate to stumble into a maester who could heal his son. by the good fortune of his gods he cornered one and had his son cared for. the boy would survive and ymir would journey back to beyond the wall but life would never be the same for the man. having thrown everything away for the boys life.
