Looking at him now, no one would have suspected him to have been born a weak and fragile baby. With an immune system that was just not up to par, most would have just let the baby die with the assumption that there was nothing that could be done. However, his father thought otherwise. Taking a journey that would cost his father practically everything, by going beyond the wall, they'd find the medicine that would save his life. It all occurred when he was far younger than he was now, so his memories of the incident are vague and blurry at best most of the time. All he knows now is that it's just him and his father (and his dog) for some reason, but he has no issue with that. There are just times when they wander along that he can't help but wonder where is everyone?
