FRIENDS Despite his friendly and charming demeanor, there are very few in Westeros that can call Artys a long time friend. He meets a lot of new people but rarely connects with anyone, as many are shocked with his honest opinion and blunt equality when it comes to all matters. All the people he currently cares for reside in the Vale and as their Lord he see's them all as friends in some way as he takes a great deal of pride in the Vale's culture. But his position warrants him to engage with other highborn outside of the Vale and with increased diplomacy and other dealings he expects to make some friends (or at least allies and associates) in the near future.

ENEMIES As a highborn he has received his fair share of disdain from the lowborn and others from different regions. However he is loved and respected in the Vale and his family has worked hard to ensure that their rule is a positive one. There are many enemies that Artys, and the soldiers he commanded, killed in the past but it was all done to protect his own. There is no enemy he wouldn't take on if his lands and family were threatened and he has never been one to run from a fight. He deplores the subjugation of others, and feels responsible to ensure punishment on those doing so.

ROMANCE Artys was married young by his parents through a successful match which resulted in two children being born. While Artys loves his wife he has never believed in monogamy due to arranged marriage system of the highborn. Artys is focused on ensuring his bloodline for generations to come and his wife hasn't fallen pregnant in the eighteen years since the birth of his twins. Artys is well aware of this and he is also aware of whispers that he's had late night visitors accompany him to his chambers whilst visiting Kingslanding, but nothing that could be proven beyond rumour. He is open to another relationship if the right woman crosses his path.
