Once upon a time, she had an easy life. Back when she was very, very young and looked forwards to becoming a true Greyjoy. But then her older sister had to run away or something, leaving her behind as the only female to be married off. Suddenly, she had much less freedom, had to learn just the right things to be at least somewhat presentable. That was disheartening.
Then they married her off to some brutish bastard from the Riverlands. That was an insult.
Then she had to bear him children, endure is abuse. That was pain.
But what was dead may never die. Even shipped off to Riverun, Sarra still remained some parts of her nature. She allowed her resentment to grow, tried to channel it into more productive things. After all, that idiot of a husband was too busy wasting himself away with ale and wenches, so she was the one to pick up his slack for her own purposes. He was a monster, but she was someone who could withstand him. She would do all she could to never give him the son he desired. And one day, she would make him pay.
