POSITIVE How does the saying go? Lord Lannister may rule the Westerlands, but was ruled at home by his Lady Wife. Telfor is willful, strong, and brooks no fools. She refuses to sit idly by while her husband plays the game of thrones alone. Born a lowly Clegane, she's no sewing lady. She's an excellent commander, and she wants to see House Lannister maintain its place at the top of the trash heap. | LIKES - reading - jousting - travelling - fighting - fucking DISLIKES - parenting - traitors - needless smalltalk - weakness - maesters | NEGATIVE As a former Clegane, Telfor's adapted more than well enough to the life and intrigues of a Great House - but underneath she's still a dog, and she wants to bite and gnaw. She's very often restless and tapping, and though Telfor has since learned to read and write and play at Lady, what she really wants to do is brawl and fight and fuck. She is often cruel and vicious, with little real empathy for those not in her life. Motherhood never suited Telfor all that much as well, for the qualities and warlike upbringing that made her such an excellent knight also makes her a rather aloof and distant mother. |

Many boys are born with the talent for strength and violence, but every once in awhile, a girl gets to win the genetic lottery. Even as an unbled girl, Telfor Clegane was taller than boys half again her age, and her prodigious inclination towards the knightly arts was apparent from a young age. In another place and another time, she would have been akin to Brienne of Tarth; shunned, reviled, and pitied for pursuing a man's vocation. But the Lannisters demanded savage warriors from their former kennelmasters, and House Clegane was more than willing to offer up every able body it had. Telfor was absolutely thrilled to comply.
At present, Telfor Lannister is a semi-retired knight and the fierce matriarch of House Lannister, a woman unwilling to sit idly by and watch her husband play the game alone. In her raw prime, however, she was a living legend, a peerless knight, with honors that carried more than sufficient prestige to allow a mere landed knight to marry into the Lannisters. She served her husband's father as his chief enforcer, ascended to head of House Clegane with the death of her father and brothers, and led the charge that butchered the rebellious Reynes and Tarbacks. She received a nomination to the Kingsguard, though the offer was never realized through her timely marriage. Though she hasn't taken to the field for quite a bit, her name would still give anyone pause.
Except her idiot kids, apparently.
