The year is 286 AC. King Jaehaerys II has just passed, leaving the throne without a rightful ruler. While his three children fight for the crown, Winter creeps closer, and unimaginable darkness looms.
Not all alliances will be so typical this time. In fact, many people have a crucial effect on the way this story is told. As for the ending, we only hope there are enough people left alive to tell it after its passed.

Join us for our first event, the wake of recently deceased King Jaehaerys II.

She was weary from the somberness of the funeral, exhausted from the unnecessary bickering between the nobilities, and worn from the countless hours of scouring over numbers she had completed to accommodate for the attendees of the royal event. Yuliya wanted nothing more than sleep in that moment. The gentle stroke of Lyon’s hand atop her head only pulled her deeper into the depths of tiredness, whispering to her that slumber was the only way for the little lion to reach a state of acceptance. Acceptance over the shifting foundation of the realm brought on by the inevitable death of their beloved ruler. She couldn’t remain in the sept any longer. Detaching herself from her newly sworn shield, she allowed her hand to clasp his as she glanced up at him. The dullness of her stare would convey to Lyon that she wished to depart. One final glance was cast upon the casket of Jaehaerys, whose soul hopefully had traveled to a far less precarious environment. “I’ve already said my goodbyes and made my peace,” she mumbled to Lyon before slowly beginning to lead him out of the holy structure.

Reach out your hands Don't turn your back Don't walk away How in the world Can I wish for this? Never to be torn apart Close to you 'Til the last beat Of my heart
Sapphires had lost their luster, the days before ha dall but drawn out the last of his partners strength. Feeling her lean into his firm grasp. Protecting her from the world around them. Feeling the sensation of her desiring to leave behind the Sept.
" Lets bring you back to your quarters, you need sleep."
Brought to the commoners and lowborn greiving outside. Everyone had felt the death of the king. Until they were out of eyesight they would maintain their royal composure but as soon as he had her to himself he picked her up and carried her from the wake.
Even just for a moment, he would let Yuliya rest. Hopefully his padded armor and warm arms would be suitable for the Master of Coin to settle down.
"Ah," sounded Lorent as if he were at a loss for words. Though he was a little surprised by the notion of young nobility being both forward thinking and conscientious, the auburn rose was far from speechless. He would allow his amber eyes to radiate with an eager fervor in response to the pup's offer. His brother was probably the better person to discuss such an alliance with, but Lorent certainly would not complain about the attention.
"I fear you'll wear yourself out before you even get to see the throne!" He just had to follow the facetious complaint with an embellished sigh.
"Very well, in order to save you from yourself, I see that I must keep a close eye on you during this endeavor."
Lorent bowed.
"Therefore I shall keep in touch with you on this matter. It has been a pleasure, Lord Ayden Stark, and I do hope you find the rest of your evening quite favorable."
With a simple, informal salute, Lorent would depart from the event.
