The year is 286 AC. King Jaehaerys II has just passed, leaving the throne without a rightful ruler. While his three children fight for the crown, Winter creeps closer, and unimaginable darkness looms.
Not all alliances will be so typical this time. In fact, many people have a crucial effect on the way this story is told. As for the ending, we only hope there are enough people left alive to tell it after its passed.

Join us for our first event, the wake of recently deceased King Jaehaerys II.
Updates
AUG. 19: So we are now officially open to the public. We have a mini-event flashback thread going on, and our main event just began. Feel free to make a second canon if you can keep both of them active enough.
Don't hesitate in pestering staff with questions; it's what we're here for! Let's raise a glass and make a cheer toward a successful launch of Winds of Winter.
hi aunt! dom can be a cyvasse partner for you. he's pretty good, but it's clear that he always has the same strategy, so he's also easy to beat once someone plays with him a few times. (metaphor for his simple/direct approach to life, aha)
i think dom was (shamefully) scared of her because of her limp when he was a child. it's the worst thing a young knight-to-be can imagine happening, and like most stupid/uneducated people, he acted like he could actually 'catch it' just from being around her and probably only gave her cursory greeting hugs before darting away to go play when he was young. when he got older he would have realized he'd been a complete douchecanoe to his wonderful aunt and continues to try to make up for it by hanging out with her more. (and totally kicking the ass of anyone who ever makes fun of someone with a disability or treats them differently because of it.) he's kind of a transparent, not-very-intellectual guy but here's a nephew if you want 'im.
As far as Donald was concerned, it was his duty to look after you even more so than Daemon's because big brother was busy being groomed to become head of the house. As such, in his own way, he was a caring older sibling. That being said, he made it a point to never coddle you, even after your injury. Sure, he'd give Dione a helping hand in public if she really needed it, but in private he always insisted she stand on her own two feet. "If you want someone to lean on, find a husband." he'd say to her because he's probably more blunt than he needs to be. But there it is. As soon as Dione tried hiding in her room he came pounding on her door telling her to show herself. And once she did, he was proud of her, but kept that fact to himself. He figured she knew.
d'aw, dom is such a cute baby~ <3 i imagine she said the same when he was born (like she said about every single one of her nieces and nephews haha). she would have been hurt by his attitude, i think, especially since he was family, but she understood him and the fact that he was just a child. she'd love to play cyvasse with him, maybe she even taught him a little? :3
he's a goddamn sweetheart, i already told you that when i only had selyse ffs senpai stop making him so cute he's twenty-four and she's twenty-eight, so they more than likely met before her accident, as snotty brats, when she would have challenged him to duels all the time. XD but she has changed a lot after she went through her accident: she became a lot more withdrawn because she doesn't want to be a burden on others. she already feels like she is a burden to her siblings. they could be cyvasse buddies and see where that goes. :3 i suck at planning ahead.
donnie my love. <3 ;_; is it bad i just like to think of them as somewhat of polar opposites? he could have been the one who pulled her out of her misery, who made her realize that life was not over because of a silly thing like a limp and a nasty scar. in turn, she'd respect him and care for him immensely. ;_;
Cyvasse buddies works! Because of how difficult it is for Tybalt to find anyone who can play Cyvasse on his level who isn't his father, I think he'd consider Dione to be the exact opposite of a burden. I'm happy with them perhaps being childhood friends reconnecting somewhat but If they aren't already besties then tbh I think they'd definitely end up that way.
he's really sorry aunt ;n; he was a stupid kid and still a stupid teenager in many ways cough he probably came to his senses by age 11 so at least they've had some good years since!
for sure she could have taught him! the first day she prob showed him like one strategy and he jumped on it like AWWYEAH I GOT DIS and she's like no omg there are MANY STRATEGIES you can't just rely on the FIRST ONE YOU LEARN. also i don't know if riding is too much/painful for her but they could do that as well. C:
riding is good, as long as there is someone else with her to help her get off the damn horse. i've got this headcanon that she once went out riding with someone and they forgot to help her get off her horse and she just stood there for a while, glaring. XD but yes, riding sounds good. she can tell him about how awesome she was when she was his age. she actually has a good sense of humour for someone with a disability, just saying. :3
childhood friends sounds awesome! :D she was the one that broke all ties with him back then, so she feels very guilty now and will prolly approach him very awkwardly. v.v stoopid dione. but she's going to do her best to fix things. ;_;
omg that's hilarious. IT COULD BE DOM. it could be someone else too but DOM COULD HAVE TOTALLY BEEN THE ABSENT-MINDED DICK WHO DID THAT. especially when he was like trying to mend ties between them and they go out riding somewhere (like a particular stream or arrangement of boulders that looks like a sleeping dragon so if you tell your parents you're going to the Sleeping Dragon they know where you mean) and when they get there he hops down off his horse and goes running off like usual and then is like 'hey where's aunt' and there she is 10 yards back still on the horse just glaring at him.
no one said being funny and disabled were mutually exclusive! i think dom really does like her a lot, not just because she's his aunt and a baratheon. i don't think he has that many women he really TALKS to so dione is a good influence on this stupid genderized westerosi male. not that dione is gonna be like his #1 confidante but i def think he'd open up to her a bit more than his mother or sisters just bc eugh moms and sisters, man, you tell them one thing and they want to be all up in your business for the rest of forever.
certainly! XD she'll never let him forget what a derp he was back then. B] but she understands him, in a way: as the youngest child, she was never quite responsible before, so she will do her best to give him good advice, that will help him later in life. <3
I'd like to think that Jaime and ARGELLA ARRYN could have known one another before her tragic accident. A young boy allowed to travel with his mother and uncle to Storm's End as they wished to speak to their liege lord, surprised to hear about the Lady Baratheon allowed to train with a sword. Intrigued, impressed, he challenged Dione to practice with him, only for her to knock the feet from under him. And in that moment, Jaime determined that they would be friends.
His heart would have gone out for her at hearing news about her injury. And Jaime would have done his best to be there for her in her moment of darkness, to support her in any way that he could. After all, that's what friends do. Unfortunately, him joining the Brotherhood Without Banners had likely created some ammount of space between them. If only that seeing Dione is difficult with the price on his head. Though, she shouldn't be surprised to receive the odd letter, signed Sapphire. Or messengers gifting her with odd tokens, pretty enough objects that in some way or another caused Jaime to think of her.
i actually like the idea of the two of them being friends since before her accident. she was a terrible derp back then, proud of her house and it's words, so they would've gotten along just fine: both with a love for violence, to a certain degree. but i love it even more that he was one of those people who kept her going and the he still thinks of her, after all this time. sure, she probably got questions about who sapphire was, but she'd never tell: she is grateful to him for his support and wouldn't betray him, although she is rather concerned about his well-being.
